Hello, I'm Dana.

I am a designer of experiments who enjoys exploring the furthest reaches of absurdity and practicality. Though these investigations take many forms, all are inspired by some element of science, technology, intuition, and imagination.

Early on, I began formulating traditional hypotheses in molecular biology labs, but have since experimented in the fields of acrobatic performance and design.

I delight in uncovering connections between the seemingly unrelated and blurring boundaries between ideas that we normally think of as being in opposition to one another -- between body and mind, the absurd and sincere, and the awe-inspiring and mundane.

I hold an MSc in Neurobiology & Physiology and a Masters of Professional Studies from NYU's ITP.
